OUR STORY:
Back in the day, we were big fans of reality Food Truck shows like ‘The Great Food Truck Race’, ‘Eat St.’ and many other Food Network shows. And in 2012, Ottawa finally announced they will be allowing 20 new Food Truck licenses to the streets of our Capital City. So in the summer of 2013 with many sleepless nights we wrote up the proposal, applied to the City of Ottawa for a Food Truck license, and it was granted!
Our dream and adventure of being Ottawa Food Truck owners have begun in downtown Ottawa. However, the conflicting dilemma of deciding what would be on the menu that represents our unique food style while keeping it simple was immensely difficult. If there is such a thing as unauthentically authentic – we wanted comforting casual Asian fusion. Combining both our Canadian and Cantonese heritage, our twist must be something spicy. Imagine a FIRE breathing DRAGON. Yes – let’s call it ANGRY DRAGONZ!
After many years of hard work and a dash of luck we were able to open our first permanent location in Fall 2016 on 300 River Rd (Riverside South). So we can offer takeout, delivery and catering services all year round!
Now in Jan 2022, we were able to open our second permanent location on 260 Nepean St (downtown) in the heart of Ottawa. It is where we first started out and we are very happy to be back in the neighbourhood and extremely thankful to all loyal patrons for the many years of support!
